Great chair!
First, I ordered this chair on a Wednesday and received it on Friday of the same week which is extraordinary because I live in Hawaii. It was well packed so there was no damage in shipping. Second, I am a Contract Designer and have dealt with office furniture my whole career. This is NOT a cheaply made product. This chair is beautifully designed and the detailing is done in a quality fashion. Comfort of course is subjective, so like shoes if it fits your frame, as it does mine, you will be very happy with the padding on this chair. The cantilevered arm allows you to get close to your desk and still have arm support while you are working. The swivel and tilt mechanism works fluidly as does the height adjustment. Can you guess? I LOVE this chair!

Fabulous look, but not for every day use
Looks really, really fabulous. However, the seat is a bit wobbly and the the metal bar which keeps the back from tilting, keeps slipping out of place so that the seat-back will suddenly lean backward. Because this chair is so darn good-looking, I try to remember to check the metal rod before sitting down to avoid any unexpected backward leaning. Because of this, I would not use this in a commercial setting, but it's OK for home-use if you remember to check that metal rod!
nice modern chair
We tried a lot of chairs before purchasing this and many of them were made for comfort, but they were also ugly. We chose this chair untested for looks hoping for comfort too. The seat/back cushion is average in terms of comfort, comfortable but nothing to rave about. I don't use the arms but my husband does and he does not like them, they are thin and hard. The chair has an unexpected tilt back rocking ability which is really nice and smooth, hard to explain but a definite perk! The controls positions are great and adjust well. The chair looks great,the chrome looks quality. I would say the color is a soft white, definitely white but not a harsh plastic white that I have seen. There are some small flaws in the stitching but that would not sway me from purchasing. We purchased this at a discount it was "used" in new condition. We got a bargain, it looked brand new. Overall I would recommend.
